Short Weekend Trip at Aston Marina, Ancol

In this post, I'm about to write my short trip to Aston Marina, Ancol on 28th-29th of September 2012.

Last week, my family and I went to Aston Marina, Ancol at 4.30 p.m. and we arrived there at 5.30, since it's friday and traffic jam everywhere. If the road wasn't too crowded, we may arrive faster.

After that, we went to our room at 912. It was a family suite with 2 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and living room. The room is very homey, I can say. It's not much like most or common hotel I met, which prior to luxury and hotel-like. The room is so homey. Is it because it has the same concept with the both apartment tower next to the hotel or is it because I went there with my family? Well, you decide.

Start from the living room and kitchen. This is what you see after entering the door of the family suite:

The living room completed with sofa, AC unit, and a flat screen TV. It also has the TV channel guidance so that we can change the channel we intend to watch straight by pressing the number. And the kitchen is next by the living room. The dining table has 4 dining chairs, and quite cozy too. And the kitchen itself is using electric stoves and electric pot to boil tea or coffee served near it. It also have some cabinet and a wastafel. And next to the kitchen is the balcony with glass door. These are the pictures of the view from the balcony:

Now the rooms. I will start from the single beds room. This room has 2 single beds with a closet with mirror doors and window in front of the beds. It also completed with AC unit that we can adjust the temperature as we desire. Here are the pictures:

Next is the double bed room. It only has a double bed, completed with AC unit with adjustable temperature, a closet with mirror doors, a flat screen TV, a table and chair, and 3 table lamps. Here are the pictures:


















Last but not least is the bathroom. The bathroom is not big, but it's complete. It has shower cube with adjustable water temperature (hot-cold), a toilet, and an adjustable-water-temperature-tap wastafel with cabinet and mirror. It also completed with 4 towels, complete set of bath and shower gel, conditioning shampoo, razor pack, cotton buds pack, sanitary bag pack, shower cap pack, tooth brush pck, and 4 bottles of mineral water with the mouthwash glasses. And a little plus here is breakfast I got in the morning  Two pieces of waffle with whipped cream, raspberry jam, and chocolate topping and a glass of apple juice. Here's my breakfast:
